Earth Mama

This was one of my favorite maternity sessions ever.  Joy and I collaborated on the styling of this session and had so much fun with it.  This is the perfect scenery for an outdoor session (Late April - Early November). 

Maternity Session: Laura & Ed

No words necessary.  This is without a doubt one of my best maternity shoots to date (in my opinion at least)….;)  Working with pets is always a risk because you don't know how they're going to react to a stranger with a black box in front of their face.  I'm so happy everything worked out because their only request was to have shots with their first love included in the session!  It's safe to say it was a success :)

I've been slacking on the social media portion of my job!! It's all so much to keep up with, at times it's unavoidable.

I wanted to share a maternity session that shot back in November but I absolutely loved and didn't want to miss the opportunity to have the body of work on my blog.  They live on the water overlooking the east river facing the lower half of Manhattan and they had floor to ceiling windows---a photographer's DREAM!!!!

So without further ado, I introduce the maternity session of Fran and Mike :)

 

Maternity Session: Marie & Rich

This maternity session was particularly special to me because Richie is my little cousin.  It's so surreal to see him starting his new role in life as a man, a husband and a father.  I guess it's strange because in my mind he'll always be my kid cousin no matter how old we get.  I'm so happy for him to have found his soulmate in life, Marie.  They make the perfect couple.  I wish nothing but the best in life for you guys--happiness, love, laughter and prosperity.

Those are real genuine smiles right there!!!!  I was hobbled in the corner of their closet like a short little italian
troll for these shots.  LOL  The sight was something to be remembered forever.
